Nollywood director, Editi Effiong, has signed a new management deal with Zero Gravity Management, the company behind Ozark and Beasts of No Nation.
Taking to Instagram page, Effiong shared his excitement about this new chapter saying, “Excited to announce that I will be managed by Zero Gravity - makers of Ozark, and "Beasts of No Nation. “I’ve really struggled to find the words to express how this feels. One minute you’re watching Ozark and praising the artistry of it, next minute, you’re repped by the makers of your favourite show,””
He also spoke about how incredible being signed to the Hollywood studio was for him.
Effiong entered Nollywood in 2018 after founding Anakle Films with a strong aim to support the next wave of African storylines on the big screen. In 2023, he debuted his first feature film, The Black Book, on Netflix.
The action-packed film was well-received by people throughout the world, earning over 20 million views and reaching number three on Netflix's global list.
