Brian Nwana has been officially certified by the Guinness World Records as the record holder for the most fast-food restaurants visited in 24 hours.
His record beats the previous record of 100 eateries set by Canadian YouTuber Eric Decker, also known as Airrack.
Brian, a 22-year-old food content developer from Abuja, set out on this ambitious expedition on April 24 to highlight Abuja-based food enterprises and exhibit the diversity of Nigerian cuisine.
Despite having set a target of seeing 120 restaurants, he visited 150. His voyage began at 5 p.m. at the Chicken Republic in Gwarinpa and concluded 24 hours later at Truck Central.
Brian completed the entire route on foot, without using any transportation.
Along the way, he sampled various dishes—from Nigerian staples like Moin Moin and Amala to global favorites like shawarma, pizza, fried chicken, and burgers.
“This record goes to show that the Nigerian food space is worth paying attention to,” Brian shared.
“I would like to encourage people from around the world to come and explore the Nigerian food space.”
