Nigerian actor Adeniyi Johnson has responded to his suspension from the African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK), a group known for its prominent members in the entertainment business.
Adeniyi's suspension was announced on AFRIMEK's Instagram page, with the club accusing him of wrongdoing and violating their constitution.
The post featured Johnson’s picture and stated: "ADENIYI JOHNSON is hereby suspended indefinitely from the club (AFRIMEK). He has no right to portray himself as a member and is stopped from participating in any club activities.
"This decision is borne out of his gross misconduct and breach of the club’s constitution.”
In response, Adeniyi Johnson took to his Instagram page to express his disappointment and concern over the allegations.
He urged his fans to remain calm while he dealt with the situation.
He stated, "It saddens my heart that my honorable club made such a derogatory post about me! Please note that I am not bigger than the club, but before the club, there has been Adeniyi Johnson. If care isn’t taken, that post will do more harm than good!
“I feel this is detrimental to my name, my family, standard, and even upbringing— more importantly, my brand.
“I hereby implore my family, friends, and teeming fans to stay calm and continue to show unwavering love and support.
“To all associates, I remain my humble self and thank you for the continuous belief and trust. God pass us all.”
