Veteran Nigerian filmmaker and producer, Zeb Ejiro will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2024 Nigerian Week in London.
Nigerian Week is an annual week-long international festival in London, United Kingdom, including entertainment and business events.
According to an invitation sent to the producer of the 1996 blockbuster film "Domitila" acquired by newsmen in Abuja on Sunday, the award appreciates Ejiro's enormous contributions to Nollywood and the entertainment industry in general.
The festival, held from July 22 to July 28, is organized by SRTV London in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, Nigerian Films Corporation, and the Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria (AMP).
The event highlights and promotes the best of Nigerian products, services, and enterprises, as well as celebrating the country's broad and rich cultural history.
It includes a variety of entertainment, music, dances, fashion, food, exhibitions, trade fairs, investment potential seminars, and summits, allowing guests to participate in and gain firsthand knowledge of culture and experiences.
The 2024 festival's attractions will feature an Afrobeat music extravaganza, a nighttime film festival featuring the finest of African films, and a Nigeria fashion display and contest.
There will also be a Nigerian cultural presentation with a National Troupe, a trade exhibition of Nigerian cash crops and agricultural commodities, and many other activities.
