Wizkid releases snippets from upcoming album 'Morayo'

Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has given fans a sneak peek at his highly anticipated album, Morayo.

The singer teased samples from the album on Instagram, with the single, 'Piece Of My Heart' immediately generating buzz.

The song, which features Brent Faiyaz, combines genres like Caribbean, R&B, Afro-Pop, and Dancehall to create a bright and danceable track that has grabbed listeners' attention.

During a recent interview after the Louis Vuitton presentation, headed by Pharrell Williams, Wizkid discussed the personal significance of his next album, which is dedicated to his mother.

In an interview with Esquire UK, he described the album as profoundly personal, stating his hope that it would inspire listeners and spread positivity.

Wizkid also provided insights into his music-making process.
In a recent video, he revealed his method of recording hit songs, noting that he frequently writes them while sitting down.

Wizkid stated that he does not feel pressurized to generate songs, but instead depends on his natural skill and collaborations with trusted producers such as P2J.

He had said, "I am uninterested in promoting his music or giving media interviews. I prefer to focus on creating music that connects with his listeners."
