After Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's Monday inauguration, there was some minor drama in Kano State.
Gov. Yusuf objected to occupying the same seat as Abdullahi Ganduje, his predecessor.
The recently sworn-in governor was shown in a viral video choosing an unofficial, smaller seat as he was ready to deliver a speech.
Yusuf promised to reconsider some of Ganduje's initiatives when he was named the winner of the most recent gubernatorial election.
The governor had promised to look into the N241 billion debt that was left over from Ganduje's presidency.
