Veteran Nollywood actor Emmanuel France is dead.
His death was reported by Femi Ogedengbe, a Nollywood actor and filmmaker who described how he influenced the deceased's life.
On September 15, Ogedengbe revealed that one of the industry's legends had died, saying that the deceased was among the actors he took to Tanzania in 2006.
During this time, he also filmed three films: Cross My Sin, She Is My Sister, and The Director.
France was fondly remembered by his fans for some of the parts he played, and some recognised that he was a nice guy.
France's extended career in Nollywood included multiple films, giving him a reputation as a bright and vibrant personality.
His death will be deeply felt by filmmakers, fellow actors, and journalist friends who will miss his jokes and warm presence.
Other movies he featured in included Domitilla (1996) and The Curfew (2021), among others. He was aged 81.
