Popular Nigerian activist, Martins Vincent Otse, better known as Verydarkman (VDM), has staged a protest outside the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC’s) headquarters.
The protest stemmed from his dissatisfaction with the regulatory body's disregard for his complaints about the miraculous products offered by Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the leader of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministries (CMDM).
VDM has previously criticized NAFDAC on social media, accusing the agency of disregarding his repeated complaints and portraying its employees as lazy and incompetent.
However, he escalated the situation by organizing a protest march to NAFDAC's headquarters in Abuja, feeling that his complaints were being ignored.
With a group of demonstrators in tow, Verydarkman confronted the agency, demanding accountability for the agency's failure to respond to his claims about Fufeyin's miracle products.
VDM was at the forefront of the demonstration, expressing his dissatisfaction with NAFDAC's handling of his complaints.
He blasted the regulatory organization for its perceived carelessness and accused its employees of abusing businesses by demanding high product registration costs.
Senior staff members ultimately appeared to address the protesters, sparking a heated argument with Verydarkman.
