The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME reported highest scorer has broken her silence.
Kamsiyochukwu Chinyere, a student of Deeper Life High School is reportedly the highest scorer with a 360 score.
This is coming following the controversy of alleged result forgery by Mmesoma Ejikeme who claimed she got 362.
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has accused Mmesoma of inflation her score, adding that her original score is 249.
However, in a turn of events, the authentic highest scorer in the just concluded exam has come out to make her claim.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Trust, Chinyere revealed how she was able to earn the score.
According to the Deeper Life student, she studied the past questions of the UTME examination and also got help from her parent.
Stating it was her first UTME, Chinyere said she never envisioned herself becoming the best but she study hard to prepare for the exams.
Aiming to study Chemical Engineering at the University of Lagos, Chinyere pointed out she was scared of taking the exam as it was her first but encouragement from teachers helped her through.
Encouraging other students, she advised early preparation for exams and prayers to God which she hinted was the secret to her success.
