Autumn Daly, a competitor from the 2001 season of "Big Brother 2," has been jailed in Texas on suspicion of stealing.
TMZ reports that Daly was taken into custody by the police last month in Lewisville, Texas, on an outstanding theft warrant. The small retail store she operates, Encore! Encore!, was located by police tracking her car.
Daly acknowledged possessing outstanding warrants after being questioned. She told the authorities she was going to address them, but she hadn't finished all the requirements, so she was arrested.
Daly is accused of stealing items worth between $30,000 and $150,000 in connection with a purported incident that occurred in 2023. Since then, she posted a bond for $2,500.
Commenting on the incident, she said; "It’s a retaliation attempt on the part of a former business associate who sued me in civil court and lost. It won’t stick and I’m in the process of suing them for $500K as well, so best I don’t say anything further."
Autumn Daly gained prominence during the second season of "Big Brother," where she became the third contestant evicted after nearly three weeks on the show. The season was ultimately won by Dr. Will Kirby.
