LAGOS, Nigeria - Two more victims of the disastrous collapse of the three-storey building in the Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State have been retrieved from the debris by the emergency rescue team, bringing the total number of fatalities to seven.
Reports indicate that these two individuals were found under the rubble shortly after the structure, which was under construction, collapsed two days ago, trapping them along with 15 others who sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment in various hospitals across Lagos.
The additional bodies were located on Monday during the ongoing debris removal and recovery efforts at the site of this tragic incident that has overshadowed the Easter festivities in the region.

Eyewitnesses stated that the recovered bodies have been submitted to the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit (SEHMU) for appropriate handling and transfer to a morgue.
