American actress and media personality, Amanda Seales has claimed that the attempt on the life of Donald Trump, the nominee of the Republican Party for the next election and a former US president, was "staged."
Recall that the former president was hurt and was hurried off stage by security personnel following gunfire at Trump's Pennsylvania rally, which resulted in the deaths of two people, as reported by the Associated Press.
Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, was named by the FBI as the "subject involved" in the Trump assassination attempt.
Actress Seales questioned the veracity of the assassination attempt on the former president, even after security officials confirmed it.
The actress maintained that it was "staged," emphasizing that gunshots do not sound like "making popcorn on the stove," in a video message that she posted on social media.
She said: “That sh*t was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President
“I lived in Harlem long enough to know gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove. Where did the bullet come from? In theater/movies, there is something called blood pallet. You place it in your mouth, you crush it and then blood comes out.
“To be frank, Trump would not respond by raising his hand in the air where an actual attempt was made on his life."
