Tonto Dikeh, a well-known Nollywood actress, has voiced her happiness over the arrest of Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, a self-described relationship expert.
The Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) detained Blessing CEO on Thursday as a result of her involvement in the case involving IVD, a well-known car dealer from Lagos, and his late wife Bimbo Ogbonna.
She was charged with six counts total, including libel, cyberbullying, and showing uncut videos. In the absence of opposition, she was subsequently given a N10 million bail on Tuesday with two sureties in the same amount.
After witnessing Blessing criticize a deceased woman, Bimbo, Tonto Dikeh expressed her relief over the development in a tweet on her social media account.
"This lady needs to be dealt a lesson," she wrote, adding that she detested seeing people suffer. I observed her criticize a deceased lady and cause the deceased to suffer.
"Anyone can support the IVD (as a support system, which many did in private), but it is wrong to openly insult, blame, and interfere with such a delicate and sensitive issue. She must also experience their suffering. I don't feel sorry for her. She made a grave error.
