Tobi Makinde Addresses Fallout With Funke Akindele

Nollywood actor and director Tobi Makinde has spoken about his own development in the aftermath of an apparent feud with mentor Funke Akindele.

On Instagram, Tobi Makinde, also known as Tinini (Timini) from Jenifa's Diary, posted images of himself with a knowing remark.

The actor discussed the progress that comes with change, stating that a change of mentality may influence change in anything.

Quoting George Bernard Shaw, Tobi Makinde wrote, “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”

Late in 2023, allegations surfaced that Funke Akindele and Tobi Makinde were no longer on good terms, with the former allegedly attempting to prevent the latter from pursuing his skill in other industries.

Mixed comments followed the revelation, with many noting that the couple had not been goofy on each other's pages in a while. Tobi Makinde recently showered the box office smasher with plaudits.
