The first gathering of security chiefs since taking office is currently being hosted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya, the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Amao, and the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, are among those in attendance at the meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Others include Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), and Yusuf Bichi, the Director-General of the Department of State Service (DSS).
Recall that on Wednesday, the President met with Abdulrasheed Bawa, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in the Villa.
Security, health, education, and infrastructure development were mentioned by Tinubu as his top goals as president at his inauguration on Monday.
