In the Ogbomoso geopolitical zone of Oyo State, there have been three traditional rulers from the Oriire local government area who have passed away.
The deceased monarchs, according to sources, passed away on Friday in a traffic
accident that happened in the Arinkinkin neighborhood of Ogbomoso.
It was reported that the three monarchs were en route to attend the funeral of Oloolo, an ancestor of one of their zone colleagues, Oolo Oba Oyebunmi Ajayi.
Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula, and Alayetoro of Ayetoro, who are all from the Oriire local government, are among the deceased monarchs.
According to reports, they were instantly killed in the collision when their car crashed into an approaching truck.
According to a source at the Ladoke Akintola
University of Technology Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso, the incident was verified, and the patients' remains were placed in the morgue of the hospital.
The source disclosed on Saturday that four people were allegedly involved in the accident, with the fourth victim of an injury reportedly receiving treatment at the hospital.
