Following their 7-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday, former Chelsea player Chris Sutton has instructed Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to remove Bruno Fernandes' captaincy.
For his actions during the match at Anfield, Fernandes has drawn flak.
He also requested to be removed as the game veered away from United.
"Whatever you may think of the club captain Harry Maguire, you would never see him acting in this manner on the field. Ten Hag addressed the Cristiano Ronaldo's difficulty.
Now he has to deal with Fernandes, starting with deciding if he deserves to play against Real Betis in the Europa League on Thursday, Sutton wrote in his Daily Mail column.
