Tems to release ‘Born in the Wild’ Album in May

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known by her stage name Tems, has announced the imminent release of her debut album titled ‘Born in the Wild’. 

Tems disclosed on her Instagram page with a video clip taken from the album's visuals. 

Tems confirmed that the album will be released in May of 2024. 

After Tems teased one of the tunes during her performance at Coachella in 2024, the excitement surrounding the album grew. 

This declaration confirmed what she had previously said—that the project would get underway in 2024. 

2020 saw Tems collaborate with Wizkid on the hit song "Essence," which propelled her career in music. 

She released "For Broken Ears," her first extended play (EP), in the same year. 

She has since cemented her place in the Nigerian music industry, garnering numerous awards and accolades.
