Temilade Openiyi, Tems, a sensational singer from Nigeria, has finally gotten her plaque after winning a Grammy.
She was recognized for her work on Future's "Wait For U," which also featured Drake.
On Friday, Muyiwa Awoniyi, her manager, posted on his Instagram account to announce the plaque's arrival.
He displayed the Grammy prize trophy without a caption on his Instagram account.
She's the first female musician from Nigeria to get a Grammy.
Additionally, she is the first female vocalist from Nigeria to be nominated for a Grammy. Due to her collaboration with Wizkid on the smash song "Essence," she was nominated for Best Global Performance last year but came in second behind Pakistan's Arooj Aftab.
