Nigerian skit maker, Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has revealed that he narrowly missed death.
Though the performer did not indicate what happened and how he overcame death, in an Instagram post in commemoration of his 31st birthday, Broda Shaggi thanked God for keeping him alive.
He wrote, "Birthdays are often not my thing. In fact, I turn off my phone during these days since I loathe receiving birthday calls and wishes. Only those close to me know Shaggi is not Samuel, but that's not the topic for now lol."
The comedian stated that this birthday is remarkable because God gave him another chance to live.
He stated, “But this particular birthday is different because the gift of life was almost taken from me recently but God showed himself and gave me another chance.
“In fact, this photoshoot was done last night lol. Today, I’m happy, I’m grateful, I’m honoured 'cos I know some birthday mates who aren’t here to celebrate theirs. I’m no different from them but God has spared me for a reason I’m sure.”
He reiterated his gratitude to God, revealing the gift he would cherish for his birthday celebration.

The thespian, who hails from Ogun State is a graduate of Creative Arts from the University of Lagos.
