Singer Ayra Starr laments death of FUNAAB student

Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has joined the global indignation over the gruesome murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).

Christianah's life was ruthlessly cut short in a sickening betrayal allegedly by her so-called 'friend' Ayomide Adeleye, who has now been identified as not just a cold-blooded killer but also a suspected serial murderer.

The unexpected news broke on September 5, 2024, eliciting outrage on social media. 

Ayomide Adeleye, a 200-level Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) student, was identified as the prime suspect in Christianah's murder after being caught weeks after she was reported missing.

As word spread of this heinous act, famous personalities, like singer Ayra Starr, became aware of what had occurred.

The singer took to her official X page, expressing shock and disgust at the heinous act.

Ayra Starr passionately called for justice for Christianah and every woman who has suffered under the brutal hands of men like Adeleye.

She emphasized that enough is enough, demanding that men stop the senseless killing and assault of women, firmly stating that women deserve better.

In her words: “Stop killing us! Stop rap!ng us! Women deserve better.”
