Simi Addresses Comparison Between Her and Adekunle Gold's Music

 Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, addressed the ongoing music comparisons between her and her husband, fellow musician Adekunle Gold. 

In an interview with African Folder Magazine, the gifted singer-songwriter, who has made a name for herself in the music business, discussed the subject and called the similarities "somewhat shallow." 

She said that although she had expected these kinds of comparisons, she felt they fell short of appreciating the complexity and uniqueness of each artist's approach. 

Even though they are partners in life as well as in business, Simi stressed how important it is to acknowledge and value the uniqueness of their talent.

“The comparisons between me and my husband, although expected, are somewhat shallow,” Simi said during the interview.
