Popular Nigerian musician Seyi Vibez has separated from and unfollowed his record label boss, Dapper Music.
The artiste left the record label after being heavily criticized on social media by Nigerians in Toronto, Canada, for canceling a gig without prior notice.
However, in response to the situation on Sunday, Seyi Vibez took to his social media page to replace his bio with "Independent artiste" and erase all posts.
Meanwhile, Seyi Vibez's decision to go independent followed his rise to fame with the 2020 hit single Double Chance.
Also, he recently collaborated with Ayra Starr on her album The Year I Turn 21, despite rumored rivalry.
Ayra Starr had opened up about the reasons behind their collaboration.
Additionally, the split between Seyi Vibez and the record label marks a new chapter in the artiste's career as fans and industry watchers eagerly await his next move.

Seyi Vibez made his debut in 2019 with his single 'Anybody'.
He first gained popularity in 2020 following the release of his single 'Godsent', The following year he released his debut studio album No Seyi No Vibez (NSNV), his second studio album Billion Dollar Baby with the mixtape 'Billion Dollar Baby 2.0' was released in 2022.
