On May 15, singer Seun Kuti spent the night in police prison.
The musician, who brought himself up yesterday, was held because police couldn't finish looking into the assault claims made against him. Remember that the musician's detention was mandated by Usman Baba Alkali, the Inspector General of Police after a video of the artist shoving and hitting a police officer appeared online.
Seun was transferred from the Ikeja location of the Lagos State Police Command to the Yaba location of the State Criminal Investigation Department, where he was questioned into the night. After that, he was sent to a cell, where he spent the night.
