The Senate has confirmed the nomination of four new service chiefs appointed by President Bola Tinubu.
This is coming after the Senate met with the nominated service chiefs in a closed-door screening session on Thursday.
Tinubu on June 19, 2023, in a major shakeup of the country's security architecture nominated the service chiefs.
The shakeup came following persistent calls by civil society organizations for the government to rejig the security architecture and appoint fresh hands to handle the nation's security apparatus.

- Maj. Gen. Christopher Musa (Chief of Defence Staff)

- Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla (Chief of Naval Staff)
- AVM Hassan Abubakar (Chief of Air Staff)
