Furthermore, he reiterated Saudi Arabia's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the kingdom's commitment to backing the Palestinian people. Iran's state news agency, IRNA, also confirmed the conversation, stating that the leaders discussed the imperative need to put an end to war crimes against Palestine. The conflict between Israel and Hamas, initiated by a surprise attack launched by Hamas on Saturday, has resulted in a devastating toll, with both sides reporting significant casualties and civilian deaths. Additionally, the situation has raised concerns about the fate of approximately 150 hostages, predominantly Israelis, who are held in Gaza by Hamas.
