Manchester United have officially put Jadon Sancho up for sale, with the club wanting the player to leave permanently in January.
The decision was made following a public dispute between Sancho and manager Erik ten Hag, who expelled him from first-team training.

According to ten Hag, Sancho was cut from the United squad that played Arsenal in September because of his poor displays in training. The player was so incensed by this decision that he publicly criticized his manager on Instagram, further complicating their already frayed relationship.
Sancho wrote on Instagram:
“Please don’t believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that [are] completely untrue. I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair!
“All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and [I’m] grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!”
Since then, he has been banished from first-team training, and ten Hag remains adamant that he will not allow the player back into the fold unless he tenders an unconditional apology.
Before this current decision,
Manchester United was willing to subsidize Jadon Sancho’s £300,000-a-week wages to secure a loan exit in January if he continues to refuse to apologize to Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United is reportedly planning to sell Jadon Sancho in January because the winger has showed no signs of wanting to end his dispute with Erik ten Hag. Because of their ongoing dispute, the team has decided to sell him permanently during the January transfer window.
His market value has practically fallen from £73m in 2021 to roughly £33m, so the Red Devils will have to settle for a bargain.
Sancho has not played since the public incident, and ten Hag has been unwavering in his insistence that he will not be permitted back until he apologizes.
Sancho's performance at Old Trafford
Since joining Manchester United, Sancho has reportedly disappointed with his performance, scoring just 12 goals in 82 games.
Ten Hag gave Sancho almost three months off last season to deal with mental and physical problems. It didn't have much of an effect on his return, until this season's big fallout.
Manchester United knows they will have to take a major knock on the money they paid for Sancho more than two years ago, as his market value has nearly plummeted to roughly £33m.
Borussia Dortmund, the player's former club, is rumored to be interested in signing the winger, and Barcelona and Juventus are also keeping tabs on the situation.
The latter two teams, however, are more interested in short-term loans than permanent signings.
Another major potential club considering signing him is Al-Ettifaq of the Saudi Pro League.
