Nollywood actor, Rotimi Salami has taken to his Instagram page, to educate Nigerians on paternity issues.
He said:" someday, we will all learn that not everyone whose DNA did not match cheated." He emphasized that the lucrative industry of exchanging newborns from hospitals is one element that has received little attention.
He also advocated for DNA testing on mothers, stating that it is extremely vital.
“One day we will discover that not everyone whose DNA didn’t match cheated. The big business of exchanging kids at birth from our hospitals is one angle many haven’t talked about.
Recall that Rotimi Salami had stirred the internet as he made a strong case for paternity fraud, advocating that it should be criminalized like rape.
He likened the pain and trauma a woman experiences when raped to that of a man when he finds out the child he has been raising is another man’s child.
