The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced that it has received 50 requests for access to examine election materials and the issuance of certified true copies.
Johnson Alalibo, the Rivers State Resident Electoral Commissioner, assured all applicants and the people that INEC is committed to carrying out its constitutional duties impartially in a statement made accessible to newsmen.
Alalibo urged the people of Rivers to cooperate and adhere to the law's guidelines so that the commission could better service their needs.
He stated that while applying for CTC is a valid right of candidates and parties, he added that there are procedures to complete in order to do so, of which one of it is paying the necessary fees.
