Rick Ross Profess Love For Afrobeats, Hints On Collaborations

American rapper, Rick Ross has disclosed his love for Afrobeats and Nigerian artists which stirred a lot of reactions among netizens.

The Maybach Music boss disclosed this in a video message shared via his Instagram page recently.

Additionally, he made hints about collaborating this year with African musicians including Uncle Waffles, Odumodublvck, Asake, and Amaarea.

It is anticipated that the features will be included in his next studio album, "Champagne Moments."

Among the African musicians Rick Ross would love to collaborate with are Nasty C from South Africa, Stonebwoy from Ghana, and Black Sheriff from the United States.

Remembers that the artist has worked with Diamond Platnumz of Tanzania, Yemi Alade, and P-Square in the past.

William Leonard Roberts II, also known as Rick Ross, is an American rapper and record executive who is a prominent player in modern hip-hop music.

After being contracted to Suave House Records, the former label of rap duo 8Ball & MJG, he eventually signed with Slip-n-Slide Records, which has been part of the Def Jam label since 2006.

Ross achieved several accomplishments in 2010. In May, he released the highly regarded Albert Anastasia EP. In addition, he released his fourth studio album, Teflon Don, on July 20, 2010. "Super High" starring Ne-Yo was the first single. The song video also featured actress Stacey Dash.

A second official single was released titled "Live Fast, Die Young" which features and is produced by Kanye West. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 selling 176,000 copies in its first week.

Rick Ross has become known for his "booming" vocal performance, "larger than life" persona, and vivid lyrical imagery.
