Reno Omokri, a former presidential adviser and social media influencer, claims that despite Peter Obi of the Labour Party receiving support from the Nigerian Christian community, he was unable to secure the necessary national support to triumph in the recently held presidential election.
On Sunday, Omokri, a well-known supporter of Peoples Democratic Party candidate Atiku Abubakar, announced this on his official Twitter account.
He was responding to the aftermath of the presidential election in which Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Party was pronounced the victor and re-elected president by the Independent National Election Commission, INEC.
“Despite jumping from church to church, Obi could get neither the numbers nor the spread needed to win. It is even with three strong Muslims dividing the Muslim vote on the same ballot. Obi just demystified the Christian bloc vote. Oya, insult me”, he tweeted.
Omokri has criticized politicians who are not affiliated with his political party, the PDP.
