Afrobeats singer Rema has won awards at the 2024 ASCAP London Music Awards with his hit song, ‘Calm Down’.
The song's co-writers and co-producers, Michael Hunter alias London and Andre Vibez, were winners.
The wins raise Rema's American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) award to three, the most by a Nigerian/African artist.
Rema is the most decorated African artist in 2024, having received six prizes thus far.
Rema has won 1 Trends Award in Brazil, 1 iHeartRadio Music award, 1 ASCAP Pop Music award, and 2 ASCAP London Music awards.
