The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, has encouraged real estate firms to protect their integrity and fulfil the promises made to Nigerians through their several adverts and jingles on the radio.
He stated this when he received the Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Estate, Babatunde Adeyemo, and his team in his office.
Alamutu urged the property merchants to emulate Adeyemo, whom he described as “a dependable and reliable personality, pursuing his real estate business with so much integrity and patriotism”.
“You have been a dependable ally of the police and on our part, we take note of it that you have been supportive of the command,” Alamutu noted.
Earlier, Adeyemo intimated the CP on the level of work progress going on in all his estates, especially the Pelican Ecostay Apartments and the installation of industrial solar lights in the estate and link roads to host communities ahead of the September inauguration of the projects.
Speaking during the Ramadan lecture, Dr Salaudeen Munirudeen from Lagos State University of Education, Ijanikin, linked the current economic downturn and the attendant hardship to individuals to corruption, cheating, wastefulness and indiscipline among Nigerians.
Munirudeen spoke on ‘’Islamic Way of Reviving the Economy of Our Country, Nigeria’’ which was organised by the Muslim faithful from the state police command.
