Marcus Rashford and Jordan Henderson have been named in Thomas Tuchel’s inaugural England squad, announced on Friday, alongside first-time call-ups for Myles Lewis-Skelly from Arsenal and Newcastle's Dan Burn.
Rashford has not featured for the Three Lions in a year but experienced a resurgence following his loan transfer to Aston Villa from Manchester United in January.
Henderson, who is 34, last represented England in November 2023, having made 81 appearances. His moves to Saudi Arabia and subsequently to Ajax resulted in him dropping down the selection hierarchy under Gareth Southgate and Lee Carsley.
Tuchel, having officially taken the reins in January, is set to lead the team against Albania in his debut World Cup 2026 qualifying match on Friday, followed by a game against Latvia at Wembley on Monday, March 24.
