Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on a deal to sign Gonçalo Ramos from Benfica.
Ramos has agreed a contract with PSG until June 2028. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Football Club is poised to secure the services of the talented Portuguese striker, following an agreement to terms on an €80m package fee with Benfica.
With the final details being ironed out, the deal is expected to be completed very soon.
Ramos is a highly rated young striker who has been in impressive form for Benfica in recent seasons. He scored 19 goals in 30 appearances for the club in 2022/23 season in the Liga Portugal competition, and he has been capped by Portugal at the Under-19 and Under-21 levels.
PSG are looking to add to their attacking options this summer, and they see Ramos as a perfect fit for their style of play. The 22-year-old is a clinical finisher who is also capable of creating chances for his teammates.

Gonçalo Ramos is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Primeira Liga club Benfica and the Portugal national team. He began his career in Parma's youth system in 1991 aged 13, initially playing in midfield before moving to the role of goalkeeper due to his height and physical attributes. He made his professional debut for Parma in 1995 and played for the club until 2001, when he joined Juventus. Ramos has been in the Benfica youth academy since 2013 and has played for the club's B team and the first team. He has also represented Portugal at various youth levels and has seven caps for the senior national team, scoring four goals.
