US Vice President and 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has said that “world leaders are laughing at Donald Trump” during the presidential debate on Tuesday.

Harris said, turning to look at Trump at the other podium, “I have travelled the world as vice president of the United States and world leaders are laughing at Donald Trump.

“I have talked with military leaders, some of whom worked with you, and they say you’re a disgrace.”

She argued that Trump does not have the “temperament or the ability to not be confused about fact,” pointing to his denial that he lost the 2020 election and his claims about the court cases against him being a weaponisation of the Justice Department.
