President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will address the nation tonight, Monday, July 31, 2023, at 7 pm.
The announcement was made by Dele Alake, Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications & Strategy, in a terse statement.
Alake said that television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast.
The statement did not say what the President would be addressing in his broadcast.
However, it is likely that he will discuss the state of the nation, the economy, and the proposed nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress.
