President Bola Tinubu Arrives India For G-20 Summit

President Bola Tinubu is attending the G20 Summit in New Delhi, India, following a special invitation from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The G20 Summit is focused on the theme 'One Earth-One Family-One Future,' which emphasizes global unity and cooperation to address the challenges facing humanity and the planet. Just before the president's departure, there was a warning strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) concerning palliatives to mitigate the impact of the removal of petrol subsidy. While the president is away, the Presidential Election Petition Court will deliver judgments on petitions filed by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and other presidential candidates challenging the victory of Tinubu, who represented the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 25, 2023, presidential election.
