The Nigeria Police through its PPRO has stated that it would investigate the assault on a veteran Yoruba actor, Lawori, by Koko Zaria, a chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated this in a post on his official X handle on Monday.
Recall that Koko Zaria was said to have ordered an attack on Lawori.
Sharing a viral video by Lawori, an X user, @Oyindamola, tagged the Police PPRO to step in.
In response, Adejobi assured the general public that justice would be served.
He wrote, “This will be investigated, and justice will be served. Many people have called me on this case.”
