Police Refute Claims Of Arresting VeryDarkMan

The Federal Capital Territory, FCT Police Command, has denied claims that Nigerian social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, VDM, was detained.

According to early reports on Sunday, the social critic was arrested by Nigerian Police operatives for reportedly revealing a criminal act.

However, the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that Verydarkman was just summoned for questioning.

She clarified that VDM was questioned over allegations of cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and defamation of character and was released immediately after he made a statement on the allegations leveled against him by an individual.
