Los Angeles police reveal looking into the possibility of Kanye West engaging in a reported battery.
Officers were dispatched to Sunset Boulevard at approximately 12:30 on Wednesday following reports of an incident, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to NBC News, a US partner network of Sky News.
When the cops arrived, Ye, the rapper, who goes by West, had already left. According to a police spokesman, the accused victim, an unnamed guy, informed detectives that the American celebrity repeatedly punched him in the face.
Chief of staff for West's garment and textile firm, Yeezy, Milo Yiannopoulos, said in a statement to NBC News that the incident occurred after his wife, Bianca Censori, was allegedly: "physically assaulted".
Mr Yiannopoulos said: "The assailant didn't merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses," Mr Yiannopoulos said.
"She was battered and sexually assaulted."
Police took an incident report from the person who made the claims against West, but have not released any details.
