Some hoodlums on Friday invaded Agojeju-Odo, a community in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The gun men were said to have shot community members and burnt houses.
The Daily Post reports that the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya, confirmed the attack.
He said that the state's Commissioner of Police, Bethrand Onuoha, has deployed tactical teams to the area.
“Yes, there was an attack in the village in Omala. The CP has deployed the enforcement team along with other security agencies.”
