Chelsea Football Club has reached an agreement to make Mauricio Pochettino the team’s permanent coach.
At the conclusion of this season, Frank Lampard will be replaced as the club’s manager by 51-year-old Pochettino.
In the wake of his dismissal by Tottenham Hotspur in November 2019, he made a return to the English Premier League.
Pochettino, who played 20 times for Argentina, joined Espanyol in management in January 2009 after playing more than 250 times for them.
Chelsea is presently 11th in the EPL standings with no title wins this season, so Pochettino has a massive task ahead of him.
