Phyna Recounts Losing 17 Brand Deals Because Of Controversies

POSTED ON December 28, 2023 •   Celebrity Gossips      BY Ebiakuboere England

Former Big Brother Naija reality show winner, Phyna has stated that her social media troubles cost her 17 commercial deals.

She said this when discussing the impact of social media on her life since becoming famous in 2022.

Phyna described how one of the businesses refused to cooperate with her and labeled her an 'abuser' in an interview with Doyin's Corner.

She stated that this was in response to blogs accusing her of slapping her ex-boyfriend, Groovy, because he went behind her back to broker a transaction that benefited both of them.

She said: “Two weeks ago, my manager and I did a calculation of how many deals I lost from last year till now. We counted 17 deals.

“A big brand told me that the reason for not working with me is because I’m an abuser.

“They said they can’t work with an abuser, and this was coming at the period that bloggers accused me of slapping someone.”

However, one of the issues Phyna is dealing with is her father, Mr Felix Otabor, claiming that he hasn't seen her since she won the reality program and the N100 million grand prize in 2022.

It may be noted that Mr Otabor stated in an interview months ago that Phyna vanished after the program, at a time when she urged him to sell all the automobiles he was using to run his business and he feared their lives had altered forever.

He, on the other hand, claims that his daughter has stopped answering calls and that the only time he sees her is on social media sites.
