The Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, graces the funeral ceremony of late Nollywood veteran actor, John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu, in Enugu state.
The ceremony marks the final farewell to the actor, who died on Saturday, March 2.
An X user ChuksErics while sharing a video wrote: “Mr Peter Obi arrives at Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State to pay his last respects to the late Nollywood actor, Chief John Okafor (Mr Ibu).”
Recalls that in October 2023, reports emerged that Mr Ibu was ill and required financial assistance.
In November 2023, however, his family confirmed that one of his legs had been amputated to keep him alive.
