Talent Manager and Socialite, Paulo Okoye has appealed to the EFCC over crossdresser Bobrisky’s ongoing case.
Recall that the popular crossdresser was detained on April 3, 2024, in Pinnock Estate, Lagos State, for naira mutilation and abuse.
During his court hearing on Friday, where he pleaded guilty to Naira abuse, he begged the court and judge to grant him a second opportunity.
He committed to utilizing his position to enlighten and educate his fans about money spraying, and he requested the judge to balance justice with mercy.
Unfortunately, the judge did not excuse his terrible behavior and set his punishment for April 9th.
On his Instagram page, Paulo Okoye stated that if Bobrisky is guilty of naira misuse, he, along with over 2 million other Nigerians, is also guilty and must report themselves to police stations.
He asked the Economic and Financial Crime Commission to forgive Nigerians and assured them that naira abuse would not happen again.
He wrote: “If Bobrisky is guilty of Naira abuse, you know over 2M Nigerians will just go to the Police Station and report yourselves including me.
“Please EFCC forgive us. Is not going to happen again,”
