A fatal accident occurred on the Nteje-Awka-Onitsha Expressway opposite the Federal Road Safety Corps Unit Command in Anambra State, resulting in the death of one person.
Eyewitnesses reported that a Toyota Camry with registration number ABJ125JV, driven by Chinweuba Chidiebere, and a Ford Explorer with registration number ZBL626RL were involved in the crash.
The Camry driver lost control and veered into the lane of the Ford Explorer, leading to the collision.
The acting Sector Public Education Officer for FRSC in Anambra State, Margaret Onabe, confirmed the accident, stating that one person died and two others were unhurt.
The victim was rushed to Chira Hospital where he was pronounced dead, and his body was deposited at New Jerusalem mortuary Nteje.
