The Oil and Gas Trainer Association of Nigeria (OGTAN ) has scheduled it awards ceremony to take place on May 24 at the MUSON Centre in Lagos.
According to a statement by Dapo Omolade, the National Publicity Secretary, the event will feature a keynote address by Felix Ogbe, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
OGTAN, established by NCDMB in 2010, is the umbrella group for training service providers in the oil and gas industry.
It represents the Education and Training Sectoral Group of the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF) under Section 58 of the NOGICD Act (2010), focusing on developing local human capital capacity in the oil and gas sector.
OGTAN's membership comprises of more than 400 companies involved in training and developing human capacity within the energy industry and other sectors.
The recipients for 2024 encompass prominent figures from both the private and public sectors, as well as leaders in the industry.
