Billionaire Businessman and socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has urged the federal and state governments to create a more enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
He also urged governments to improve infrastructure and security to encourage entrepreneurship.
Iyiegbu made the remark during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the sidelines of a Gavice Logistics-organized seminar on fueling innovation.
The meeting took place on Saturday at Victoria Island, Lagos.
The businessman, socialite, and philanthropist added that an enabling business environment will make life easier for Nigerians, particularly the youth.
He believes that decent roads are critical in the logistics industry.
He said: “They need good roads to transport their goods from one point to the other,”
He called on the governments to construct good roads and find a lasting solution to insecurity.
“The youths are not asking governments to buy vehicles for them but to create that enabling environment and remove all those blockages on the road.
Iyiegbu, who is also the Chairman of Cubana Group, advised the youth to be innovative and ready to work to be successful.
