The Governor Forum condemned the “casual attitude” of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) in its handling of issues.

” “Forum is working diligently” in accordance with TCN’s commitment to restore power across the region’s states by May 27, 2024. The Forum therefore called on the Federal Government to direct TCN to take immediate action. The forum decided to set up solar power plants capable of generating at least 10 megawatts per state in the short term. ”

The Forum also reiterated its concerns about the apparent neglect of the Northeast in the allocation of federal capital projects.

The report comes despite drawing attention to the state of the region's infrastructure, which has been reiterated in all communiques over the years, particularly the poor road and rail infrastructure along the economic corridor linking the Northeast and Northeast regions. , said: Nothing serious seems to be happening in this country as he connects the rest of the world.
